New Science Fiction and Fantasy Audiobook Titles (May 2008)
by Susan Dunman

It's the only awards program in the United States devoted entirely to honoring spoken word entertainment, The Audies® honors the best audiobooks of the year. For those in the audiobook industry, it's a very big deal -- the audiobook equivalent of an Oscar. There are 30 different categories with five finalists in each category.

Listed below are science fiction, fantasy and horror titles which have been nominated as finalists in various categories. The list includes only the title and the category in which it was nominated. For a complete listing of all titles, additional bibliographic information and a sound clip from each work, go to www.audiofilemagazine.com/theaudies/

Please remember these are the finalists. Winners will be announced on May 30, 2008.
