I am not entirely happy with the new Doctor, and hope that the even newer new Doctor, already seen
in the UK but not coming to the Sci Fi Channel until a later, will be more likable. But the scripts
are full of Doctor Who silliness, and I'm told that the later scripts (including all of
the Hugo nominees) are even better, especially the "Sympathy for the Daleks" story.
Filming begins in May on a Doctor Who spin-off, Torchwood (read it sideways,
starting from the end) about a 53rd Century bisexual con-man, who appeared in several Doctor Who episodes.
More info on the Hugo nominees can be found in the
SF Site Discussion Forum (http://www.sfsite.com/forum/).
I missed letting you know about a new Smallville episode at the very end of March. I mentioned
it in the forum and list it below for completeness.
New SF on TV in April (and late March):
And in May, the season finale of Smallville.
