Ratings
Ratings are based on a four star system.
One star means that the commercials are more entertaining than the program.
Two stars watch if you have nothing better to do.
Three stars is good solid entertainment.
Four stars means you never dreamed television could be this good.

Smallville The season premiere of Smallville was fairly exciting, but all too often I could quote the next line or predict the next scene, which means that writer Stephen DeKnight is not trying hard enough. The episode wraps up the Zod plot, at least for the time being, and introduces some nifty new monsters. Jimmy Olsen ("I've decided to call myself James. James Olsen") joins the cast.

I also gave Heroes a try, but was not impressed enough to watch the whole episode, therefore no review. The current issue of Rolling Stone magazine rates Battlestar Galactica as the best show on television, and Heroes as one of the worst.

The second half of the second season of Battlestar Galactica is out on DVD, with lots of deleted scenes. A lot of good scenes had to be cut to allow SciFi channel their 17 minutes of commercials in every hour.
