Ratings are based on a four star system.
One star means that the commercials are more entertaining than the program.
Two stars watch if you have nothing better to do.
Three stars is good solid entertainment.
Four stars means you never dreamed television could be this good.

No new SF on TV until September. My advice is to go to the beach. Slather yourself with sun block, frequently renewed. Wear yourself out in the waves. Then lie in the sand and read The Brothers Karamazov. Be sure to read the translation by Pevear and Volokhonsky.

In the evening, after a light supper of lobster and drawn butter with fresh asparagus on the side, watch an episode of The Wire and a Chuck Jones cartoon. Then play a little Tomb Raider Anniversary and read yourself to sleep with a chapter or two of A Little History of the World, by E. H. Gombritch.
