One thing I didn't do is see any movies. Why travel 2000 miles and stand in
line for five hours to watch a movie that I can watch the next weekend at the multiplex?
I'm currently enjoying Falling Skies, but am all too aware that there have
been countless tv shows about alien invasions, and none has come to a satisfactory
conclusion. Much better is Torchwood, which blessedly airs without
commercials. I tried Alphas. Heroes light. Not bad. Nothing special.
SF on TV in August 2011
There is an animated spin-off of Torchwood: Miracle Day, titled Web of Lies, starring
Dollhouse actress Eliza Dushku, for the iPhone and iPad. SyFy plans a steampunk spin-off
of Warehouse 13. Teen Wolf has been renewed for a second season. Falling Skies will return Summer 2012.
