Ratings
Ratings are based on a four star system.
One star means that the commercials are more entertaining than the program.
Two stars watch if you have nothing better to do.
Three stars is good solid entertainment.
Four stars means you never dreamed television could be this good.

Falling Skies I'm back from Comic-Con. Heard Kevin Smith ask William Shatner if he was coming out of the closet. Heard J. Michael Straczinski rate himself a 6 or a 7 to Alan Moore's 10. Went to an art show where any picture of a woman with bare breasts had a discrete piece of ribbon pasted over them. Attended comics fandom's fiftieth anniversary reunion.

One thing I didn't do is see any movies. Why travel 2000 miles and stand in line for five hours to watch a movie that I can watch the next weekend at the multiplex?

I'm currently enjoying Falling Skies, but am all too aware that there have been countless tv shows about alien invasions, and none has come to a satisfactory conclusion. Much better is Torchwood, which blessedly airs without commercials. I tried Alphas. Heroes light. Not bad. Nothing special.
