Bubba Ho-Tep DVD The Shady Rest retirement home in Mud Creek, Texas is about to get all shook up when Bruce Campbell (The Evil Dead Trilogy) stars as an aging and cantankerous Elvis Presley in Bubba Ho-Tep, debuting as a Collector's Edition DVD and on VHS May 25th from MGM Home Entertainment. Campbell swings his feeble hips and joins forces with Ossie Davis (Grumpy Old Men), who plays a decrepit - and black - President John "Jack" Kennedy, while combating a blood-sucking mummy in this "wildly creative amusement" (Premiere) from screenwriter/director Don Coscarelli (Phantasm). Based on the Bram Stoker Award*-nominated short story by cult author Joe R. Lansdale, Bubba Ho-Tep garnered Second Place for Best International Film at the Fant-Asia Film Festival** and was nominated for Best Screenplay by the Online Film Critics Society.***

When mysterious deaths plague the Shady Rest retirement home, it's up to an aging, cantankerous Elvis Presley (Campbell) and a decrepit - and black - JFK (Davis) to defeat a 3,000-year-old Egyptian mummy with a penchant for sucking the souls from the barely living! Will this Bubba Ho-Tep make sure there's never another Elvis sighting? Or can the King show the world that he can still take care of business?
