Postby theopinionguy.com » Sat Jul 15, 2006 11:31 am

OG's Speculative Fiction released it's first issue July 15th. There is some great stuff inside, two short stories and a great interview with British fantasy writer, Mark Robson. We are always looking for submissions. You can find the issue at http://theopinionguy.com.

The big question, of course: is this a paying market.

It is a paying market!

Yes, we do pay. It is currently $25 a short story, $25 dollars for cover art, and $5 dollars per poem. We are looking to eventually be considered a professional market paying $.05 a word if things go well.

If I submit a story to your magazine, will I be able to publish it elsewhere?

Here's my site that shows samples of my work.

Do you accept flash fiction like http://www.sfxfantasy.com/prequel.htm

publishing elsewhere

Assuming we do accept a submitted story, you are free to republish elsewhere three months after the issue has been released.

Make sure you check out our guidelines on our website.

And we do accept flash fiction - stories 500 words or less.
