A Store That Sells Cars and Razor Blades That Never Wear Out

I am trying to find the name and author of a story I read many years ago that started out with a store appearing that only sold three products that never wore out: a car, a razor blade and something else. It involved traveling to another dimension using a spinning top. The people in the alternate dimension when they reached a certain age were put into a room with a TV and never came out again.

Wild stuff and maybe my memory isn't doing it justice. If this rings a bell with anyone, I would love to know what the story was. Thank you.

On second thought, maybe I have the wrong Simak book, but it is definately a Simak book. I remember reading it, but I've read just about all of his books so I might be screwing up which was which. It was a long time ago and I've read a few books since then.
