Book About A Man Teaching A Boy to Fly

This is really bugging me. I read about this book at Amazon about a year ago, and now that I'm actually thinking of reading it, I can't think of the author or title. It might have the word "Mister" in it.

The story had something to do with someone who worked at a circus teaching a boy how to fly or levitate, as part of an act if I remember right. I think it might have been set in the past, early Twentieth Century, maybe. The book itself is probably only a few years old.

Any help would be appreciated.
