strange bodyguard for people who can jump dimensions?

its about a girl that is part of a family of bodyguards, sort of, only the people they guard have the ability to jump dimensions with their brain. She doesn't wanna be a bodyguard but some guys kill her dad so she gets mad and decides to guard some people because there are assassins that are trying to wipe out all those people that can jump dimensions or whatever it was. Its the first book of I think a planned sequel or trilogy?
