Hi again this is the 3rd novel I can't find...

Novel 3:
A private detective discovers that the worlds of reality and our collective fiction are colliding. Bugs Bunny, Snow White, Superman, and Little Red Riding Hood all coexist in this exploration of the effects of human collective psychic evolution. The story ends with the hero in Washington DC, injured but happy.

I just noticed that the novels are all not just Science Fiction but rather cheeky as well, kind of from the Douglas Adams school of tongue in cheek satire.
