Sf Site and the Locus Poll

Sf Site did pretty well in the recent Locus Poll. We didn't win, but we came in fourth in Online Publication Read, after Tor.com, Strange Horizons, and Clarkesworld, and better than any other site that doesn't publish fiction. I was rather surprised to see Strange Horizons do so well. I don't know much about it. What can you tell me about it?
