A Thousand Clowns

It is not science fiction, but one of my favorite old movies, A Thousand Clowns, is finally out on a "print on demand" DVD. Based on a Broadway play, it's a comedy about what we used to call a non-conformist, played by Jason Robards, Jr., under attack by the Child Welfare agency because he isn't bringing his nephew up to be a good little cubicle worker. What I remembered most about it was the song, "Yes, Sir, that's my baby; no, Sir, I don't mean maybe..."
