The genre of non-fiction comic books is taking off. A few of the best, Logicomics, about Bertrand Russell and the birth of mathematical logic, all the books by Larry Gonick, especially The Cartoon History of the Universe, and a new one, The Influencing Machine by Brooke Gladstoneatt, about the American media, currently being serialized here
