...so what's scientology?
I seem to recall something in Asimov's "foundation" trilogy about people worshipping science as a religion...or maybe I have my source wrong...memory is foggy.
Wasn't scientology created by L. Ron Hubbard, the sci. fi. author? So is it science fiction or religion?

Hubbard was a science fiction author until, as reported by his sf writing friends, he decided there was more money to be made in religion.

Hubbard created Dianetics, and Scientology was evolved from that. Scientology, I think, bears reference to Christian Science, in being considered a religion. Mark Twain was the first author to call Christian Science to widespread literary attention.
