I was excited to see a "graphic novel" of Malory's work (by John Matthews and Will Sweeney) at my local comix shop - until I opened it and saw the frankly mediocre artwork. It's about the standard of a British boys' comic from the 1950s. Pity they couldn't have got Brian Bolland of Camelot 3000 fame.

I love "the matter of Britain" -- Prince Valiant, The Once and Future King, The Mists of Avalon. One of these days I've got to sit myself down and read Malory.
