Well, I finished Braid. On the one hand, it had some great puzzles, and except for the hidden puzzles (the stars) I solved all but two without help. On the other hand (spoiler warning) the ending is something of a deliberate downer, an anti-Mario ending, where it turns out the princess really doesn't want to have anything to do with you, because even though you can solve puzzles, you're still a loser. Then you can go look for the stars, but if you have time for that, you really need to get a life. I finally looked up a walkthrough for the stars, and (really, really spoiler warning) it describes finding one of the stars as the hardest puzzle in any game ever. It requires continuously holding down a button on the controler for two hours! No wonder the princess doesn't want to date you. Your reward for finding all the stars? Instead of just rejecting you, the princess explodes.
But I did enjoy the game.
But I enjoyed Limbo, which has similarly logical puzzles, a whole lot more.
On to Tomb Raider Underground.
