Just wanted to say hello...
Long-time SF fan here. ( 45 years or so ) My first book is still a favorite - "The Stars My Destination " by Alfred Bester . Read that & I was hooked.

Hello. Not as long a fan. Enjoyed Stars My Destination more recently than you. Favorite? Hmm... Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, maybe.

"Good choice."

It was actually a very fortunate accident. I was out of reading material, and my Dad had a box full of old paperbacks lying around. Lol
The Bester book had a wild illustration on the cover of Gully Foyles' tattoos. Perfect for an 8 or 9 year-old.
