Oh, a very small section of the 405 freeway was shut down for two days for a bridge demolition. Here in SoCal, that triggered the mother of all news blitzes--the pundits termed it "CARMAGEDDON," predicting epoch-shattering traffic jams and delays. None of which happened.

There were even T-shirts. I swear to God. Don't believe me? Go here.
