I recently discovered Runaways, a comic book from four or five years ago. The ones I'm reading are by Joss Whedon, issues 25 - 30. You can easily pick up a set on ebay. Not every comic book the amazingly talented Mr. Whedon writes is among his best work, but this one is first rate.
