I love the F&SF covers too. I just got a message from a friend in Georgia who I haven't talked to in years. They were in the bookstore when the August cover caught their eye, and then they recognized my name. That's probably what covers ought to do. As for Maurizio Manzieri beautiful cover, I think that _The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction_ has the most beautiful covers of all of the genre magazines every month.
