My sister, just back, told me they have nicknames for everything. Squirrels are Big Macs because they seem to be fast food for all the smaller predators. They haven't made it to my area yet, at least not in numbers sufficient to notice. I know people in other towns, though, where the black squirrels have invaded. With the black squirrels around, these people I know don't seem to be able to grow a garden from seed. The squirrels dig up all the seeds and eat them. At least that's what I've been hearing.
