I'll be reading selections from my work atop an empty milk crate at the corner of Morton and Indiana in Porterville California from 6-8PM nightly (except Sundays, when I go all day from 8AM-6PM and am accompanied by frenetic robotic bongo players, customized from those little wind-up monkeys that clap cymbals).

And Larry Niven wrote a book about us and our lake.

But nobody really put Porterville on the map until Brian Jackson.

It's like NWA and Compton. Who knew about Compton before NWA? Or Snoop and Long Beach. They thought "LBC" meant Liberty Baptist College!

When I get through with Porterville, it won't be large enough to hold itself in.
