Films Added to National Film Registry
The Library of Congress has announced twenty-five films it has added to the National Film Registry. The Registry was established by the National Film Preservation Act and seeks to identify films that are culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant, to be preserved for all time. The genre films added to the list this year include the following films.
- Electronic Labyrinth: THX 1138 4EB
- The Empire Strikes Back
- The Exorcist
