I had an opportunity to see him speak at Farpoint 97. Absolute gentlemen and very professional. Jimmy Doohan had recently come in the press about William Shatner being William Shatner, so that was a controversial thing going on. A fan asked Ansara about working with Shatner. All Ansara said was that William Shatner was very professional. He never once said anything bad about anyone. It was all about the acting.

Gald to see Michael Ansara get coverage in the sf/f media; he contributed a great deal to var. films, television genre over the years. Never met him, but he seemed very nice through the mail.
