Currently the  director of the Earth Science and Observation Center at the University of Colorado at Boulder, Abdalati will serve as the principal adviser to the NASA administrator on agency science programs, strategic planning and the evaluation of related investments.  Previously, Abdalati was head of the Cryospheric Sciences Branch at the agency&#8217;s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Christina Orr-Cahall has been named the new CEO and Director of the Experience Music Project/Science Fiction Museum in Seattle, Washington.  Orr-Cahall replaces interim CEO Josi Callan.  Orr-Cahall comes to the museum from the Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach, FL, where she held a similar position. When Orr-Cahall took over the Norton Museum nineteen years ago, it had 16 employees and is now considered a major regional museum. She is expected to begin at the EMP/SFM on July 1.</p>
