Frank Robinson Memorial

A memorial ceremony will be held in memory of Frank Robinson on August 8 at 7pm PT at the SF Women’s Building Auditorium, 3543 18th Street, San Francisco. Robinson, who died on June 30, was the author of numerous thrillers and science fiction novels, including The Glass Inferno, The Dark Beyond the Stars, and Science Fiction of the 20th Century. Robinson also spent three years writing the Playboy Advisor column and served as a speechwriter to Harvey Milk.

Robinson Named Special Guest

SFWA has announced that Frank Robinson will be a special guest at this year’s Nebula Awards Weekend, to be held from May 16-18 in San Jose. Robinson is the author of the novels The Glass Inferno and The Dark Between the Stars as well as the Hugo Award-winning Science Fiction of the Twentieth Century: An Illustrated History.
