Cities Cities edited by Peter Crowther
reviewed by Steven H Silver
The editor has been publishing excellent novellas for the past few years, including the Sidewise Award-winning The Human Front by Ken MacLeod. He's also begun collecting these novellas into books of four for those who aren't able to find the limited run chapbooks in their initial form. Four such stories were collected into the anthology Futures, and now he has collected four more here.

Mars Probes Mars Probes edited by Peter Crowther
reviewed by Rich Horton
The 16 stories include an impressive array of styles and points of attack. Half the stories are by Americans, half by natives of the U.K. There are stories by SFWA Grand Masters (Ray Bradbury and Brian W. Aldiss... and I trust Gene Wolfe at least will also be a Grand Master someday) and stories by hot newer writers (Alastair Reynolds and Patrick O'Leary). Some of the stories are humourous, some of the stories are serious and thought-provoking and some are sweet.

Foursight Foursight edited by Peter Crowther
reviewed by Greg L. Johnson
Novellas are generally found only in the magazines, with perhaps one or two finding their way into the annual "Best Of" collections. This anthology is a worthy effort to redress that grievance by collecting four novellas -- by Graham Joyce, James Lovegrove, Kim Newman and Michael Marshall Smith -- in one well-designed hardcover volume.

Moon Shots Moon Shots edited by Peter Crowther
reviewed by A.L. Sirois
30 years after Neil Armstrong set foot on our satellite, DAW has released this anthology to commemorate the occasion. A.L.'s choices were "The Moon Tree" by Jerry Oltion (clever and contemporary), Stephen Baxter's "People Came From Earth" (surely a Nebula nomination) and Ian McDonald's "Breakfast on the Moon, With Georges" (remarkable and delightful).
