Ratings are based on a four star system.
One star means that the commercials are more entertaining than the program.
Two stars watch if you have nothing better to do.
Three stars is good solid entertainment.
Four stars means you never dreamed television could be this good.

Heroes Now that we measure out our television in half seasons, let me say that I enjoyed the half-season finale of Season Three of Heroes, but was confused by the half-season finale of Season Two of Terminator The Sarah Connor Chronicles. The half-season premiere of Season Four point five of Battlestar Galactica is my pick of the month. (Smallville and Supernatural did not break their seasons into two parts.)

I watched the beginning of Legend of the Seeker, but it did not hold my interest. 24 is not really science fiction, but I'm looking forward to the premiere of Season Seven on January 11.

Terminator The Sarah Connor Chronicles has been renewed for another half-season, but when that will happen is still up in the air. Stargate returns with Stargate Universe starting Summer 2009.
