Ratings are based on a four star system.
One star means that the commercials are more entertaining than the program.
Two stars watch if you have nothing better to do.
Three stars is good solid entertainment.
Four stars means you never dreamed television could be this good.

Has there ever been a month with so little genre television? Did I miss some shows? If I did, I'm sure you'll let me know. Meanwhile, I plan to spend August playing Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, according to some the hardest computer game ever. Or I may give up on it and just play Minecraft.

SF on TV in August 2013

Falling Skies, my favorite Summer show, has been renewed for a fourth season. Heroes returns as a comic book, and possibly as a tv show available only on the X-Box. SyFy has plans for Wizard of Oz and 12 Monkeys.
