Has anyone seen the mini series of Good Omens? I like the book so much I've read it several times but I've also thought it would be difficult to make into a movie.
Meantime, the extremists have a petition out to have Netflix drop it because it gives such a terrible awful message! And as it happens, it's not on Netflix. I liked Alanis Morisette as God in Dogma. But I imagine Frances McDormand will do a fine job, too.

Seriously, did these people complain when George Burns got the gig? I mean, his real name was Nathan Birnbaum, and he wasn't a Christian.

Seems to me Raymond Massey was the original portrayer of God.

  4. I recently watched all 6 episodes. I felt it was o-kay, but missed a lot of opportunities with unremarkable dialogue instead of the really witty banter the stock situations deserved. It was watchable but failed to sparkle above a lackluster mediocrity.

And I have not read the book so cannot comment on how the the series compares with the book.
