The 50th Anniversary Issue of F&SF has to class as an important read. I'm wondering why so few people reacted to it as an annish in the September-October issue topic.

(Also, while I'm posting, why it's necessary to call the issues as both months with a slash mark. Do non-regular readers have to be made aware that they are looking at a bi-monthly?)

  2. 50th or 70th anniversary issue? 50th would have been in 1999. I put together a special F&SF 50th anniversary issue for the SFWA Bulletin, and Harlan wrote a dandy full page color inside rear cover piece for it. Plus, it had pieces by all of the living F&SF editors.

If John was traveling at 69.98% of the speed of light, it would be only 50 years for him due to time dilation... Just saying...
