Scherrer Wins Klopsteg

Author Robert Scherrer, who has published several stories in Analog has won the Klopsteg Memorial Award, presented by the American Association of Physics Teachers for extraordinary accomplishments in communicating the excitement of physics to the general public. Scherrer was also cited for his lecture “Science and Science Fiction.” Some of Scherrer’s stories include “Extra Innings,” “”How I Saved the National Science Foundation,” and “Copernican Principle.”
