University of Virginia graduate student Andrew Ferguson has won the top prize in the Bibliographical Society of the University of Virginia’s 49th Book Collecting Contest. Ferguson’s collection focuses on the works of R. A. Lafferty and includes 200 items including out-of-print novels, obscure magazines that featured his short stories, and books Lafferty once owned. The prize includes $300 and a fellowship to Rare Book School.
