World Fantasy Awards

Two World Fantasy Awards were presented at the annual banquet at the World Fantasy Con held in Arlington, VA on November 9. In introducing the awards, Gordon van Gelder addressed the controversy regarding the award’s physical appearance and noted that the administrators are listening to arguments from all sides and held a poll at the event, but have not yet made any decisions about the trophy. This year’s judges are Andy Duncan, Kij Johnson, Oliver Johnson, John Klima, and Liz Williams.
