Gen Con Threatens Move

In the wake of the Indiana legislature passing a bill that permits businesses to discriminate against same-sex couples based on religious beliefs, the coordinators of Gen Con have sent Governor Mike Pence a letter threatening to move out of Indiana when their contract expires in 2020. Gen Con brings 56,000 gamers to Indianapolis annually and an estimate $50 million economic benefit. Pence is on record as planning on signing the bill into law.
