The House That Pooh Built

Cotchford, a sixteenth or seventeenth century home which was purchased by A.A. Milne in 1925, is for sale. Milne wrote all of the Winnie the Pooh books at Cotchford and his son, Christopher Robin Milne, was raised in the house. Its 10 acres of land inspired the Hundred Acre Wood. In addition to Milne, the house has been owned by Rolling Stones member Brian Jones. The house was put of for sale in 2012 and failed to sell. The current asking price is £1.895 million.
