News from Corflu

Corflu Chiflu took place in Chicago the weekend of May 13-15, chaired by Nigel Rowe. During the convention, the location of Corflu 34 as selected. The con will be held from April 29-30, 2017 at the Warner Center Marriott Hotel in Woodland Hills with Marty Cantor chairing.

Corflu Chiflu in Chicago

Nigel Rowe has announced that Corflu Chiflu, a convention for fanzine fans, will take place in Chicago from May 13-15 at the Club Quarters Hotel on Adams. Corflu Chiflu joins the Nebula Award Weekend taking place the same weekend two blocks away at the Palmer House, and Book Expo America/Bookcon taking place in Chicago at McCormick Place the same week. Corflu memberships are currently $75 and can be purchased using Paypal through the Corflu website.

Sullivan to Corflu

The administrators for Corflu 50, Rich Coad and Rob Jackson, have announced that they have offered Geri Sullivan a free membership to next year’s convention in Newcastle, UK. In addition to the membership, Corflu 50 is trying to raise the funds to fly Sullivan over to the UK for the convention. Members and non-members are invited to donate to help cover the costs.
