CUFF Nominations Open

The Canadian Unity Fan Fund is looking for nominees to run for a visit to SFContario 6 in Toronto in November. Fans who wish to nominate should contact administrator Debra Yeung before May 31 and need three nominators from Eastern Canada and three from Western Canada. Voting will run through the month of June.

CUFF Resignation

Travers Milo, who won the Canadian Unity Fan Fund (CUFF) in an unopposed race, was unable to attend VCon as part of his CUFF duties, has now resigned as fund administrator, citing previous volunteer and personal commitments. Former CUFF winner Debra Yeung has agreed to pick up the administrator duties until a new successor can be selected.

Travers Milo has been announced as the CUFF (Canadian Unity Fan Fund) delegate to Canvention 34 in Vancouver, which will be held concurrently with VCON 39 the weekend of October 3-5. Because Milo was unopposed, CUFF raised no money during the selection process and the current administrators are requesting donations via Cash, Cheque, PayPal, or email to debra.yeung@gmail.com in order to help fund Milo’s delegate‚Äôs trip.

Yeung Wins CUFF

Debra Yeung has been selected as this year’s CUFF delegate. She will travel westward to attend thie year’s Canvention, “When Worlds Collide,” in Calgary the weekend of August 10-12. Yeung defeated Jane Garthson, 29-12-1 to win this year’s Canadian United Fan Fund.

CUFF Winner Announced

Kent Pollard has been announced as the winner of this year’s Canadian Unity Fan Fund race. Pollard defeated Danielle Stephens 20-18-2 and will travel to CanVention, which is being held this year in conjunction with SFContario 2 in Toronto from November 18-20.
