WFA Discontinues Lovecraft Pin

Only days after releasing images of the revised World Fantasy Award and stating that they would continue to give out the Lovecraft bust on pins to the nominees, the World Fantasy Awards Committee has announced that “The Board of the World Fantasy Convention has instructed the World Fantasy Award Administration to retire the Gahan Wilson HPL design including the nomination pins.” Presumably a new nominee pin will be designed.
