Write In Twain’s Home

The Mark Twain House in Hartford, CT is offering authors the chance to write in Twain’s personal library. On four Thursdays in 2017, the opportunity to write in the library is available for $50 for a three hour period of time. The house notes that pens are not permitted and there are few charging opportunities, so devices should be fully charged or authors should make use of pencils. The house is open for writers from 6:00-9:00 pm on January 26, April 20, July 20, and October 12. Although best known for his non-SF, Twain’s SF includes A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court and several short stories.
