Defying Gravity, the excellent sf show nobody watched, comes to DVD
on January 19, with never-aired episodes. Lost returns in
February. FlashForward won't be back until March, to give the writers time
to figure out where all the viewers went. Stargate Universe returns in April.

In January, Dollhouse ends, Heroes, Fringe,
and Smallville return. Since Dollhouse is ending,
the writers are free to send it out with a bang. Smallville, on the
other hand, would be ending with a whimper -- except it's not ending. As for Heroes,
not many people are watching, but I like it, and it is the best-selling tv series on BluRay, so
it may be around for quite a while, in one medium or another. When the next episode will
air, following January 11, has not been announced.
